BearFace Theatre CIC Privacy Policy 

BearFace Theatre (BFT) is a small CIC but we are committed to respecting and protecting your privacy. We adhere to the laws and guidelines set out by General Data Protection Regulation legislation (GDPR). Please see below for an explanation of our information practices and how data is collected and used.

We may collect personal information from you in the following ways:

• When you make a phone call or send an email to seek information about us;

• You have participated in project activity;

• Through our use of the Cookies on our website (please see the Website Data Collection section below);

• Through you contacting us with enquiries and comments, including on social media.

• Records of your interaction and/or correspondence with us 

• Photography or film footage (please see Photographs and Film section below)

• Your comments, feedback, quotes and other experiences. 

We will not collect or keep personal information about you unless we need it and we will not keep it longer than we need to.BFT CIC will never share your personal information with other people unless there is a safeguarding issue or a legal obligation to do so.

Data Storage & Security

We take seriously our responsibility to protect the data you choose to share with us, and never pass it on to third parties unless we have obtained your consent to do so.

We take precautions to protect your data once we have it – it is securely held, password protected and available only to the few members of staff who are responsible for contacting you.

Website 

Monitoring the way visitors use our site helps us to update and maintain it in the most useful and effective way. This data is collected automatically and is anonymous. We use Google Analytics to regularly audit this information. No personal information is stored, saved or collected. 

Photographs and Film

We sometimes take photographs and/or film at our sessions and events. Before taking any publicity images we will ask for written consent from participants so that the photographs and films may be used by BFT CIC for our website, flyers, publicity.

Social Media 

Communication, engagement and actions taken through external social media platforms that this website and its owners participate on are custom to the terms and conditions as well as the privacy policies held with each social media platform respectively.

This website uses social sharing buttons which help share web content directly from web pages to the social media platform in question. Users are advised before using such social sharing buttons that they do so at their own discretion and note that the social media platform may track and save your request to share a web page respectively through your social media platform account.

BFT CIC website contains some links to other external websites, our policies only apply to this site, so you should read the separate privacy policies of other sites.
